Actually, Zelensky clearly stated straight away that this doesn't mean that Crimea has been liberated. All channels that do merch encourage people to buy it and besides, why shouldn't be this highly competent person be rewarded for his hard and important work? Finally: you are a troll.

Zelensky is not the head of the army: Ukraine is not a military dictatorship nor is it a senescent cleptocracy like the rf, whose supreme boss interferes with the military and is surrounded by yes men who do what he says even when they know it's a terrible idea, and then try to shield him from the real life consequences of his decisions, leading to more terrible decisions. @jeffcoffin7144 Of course not - mind you, they do get paid to post bs on YT comment threads, so they may be less stupid that we think - but every now and then in the middle of that trash there's a point that seems worth making, not to the troll but to anybody else who may read the thread

@Freefall343 A military dictatorship is when a country is run by its own army rather than a civilian government. Ukraine is patently not being run by its own army. It is however under martial law, as a direct consequence of russia's full scale invasion 18 months ago, which would happen pretty much in any country fighting off a genocidal invasion. As for your other point... "picking and choosing what race leaves the country first": what...?? And by that, I mean both what do you mean and what are you on

@Freefall343 Ukraine is a sovereign country that - unlike the rf - has free and fair elections, and as such it is free to choose which countries and unions it does and does not engage with. I realise that concepts like freedom and self-determination must make no sense to someone who trolls for the kremlin, but that's your problem

@Freefall343 And one more thing, since the meaning of your vile comments has only just occurred to me: I wouldn't judge any country by the actions of a few border guards at times of peace, let alone in the first days of an immense crisis. As soon as the Ukrainian government became aware of what was happening at their Western border they took steps to fix it. There is also to be said that, while those border guards were wrong in what they did, they were prioritizing families with young children and/or elderly people over young, single people (pretty much everyone from an African or South Asian background trying to leave the country at that point was a student as far as I know). Finally, none of the above changes the fact that you are a troll.
