Because he tends to visit personnel who are working on the hardest, most dangerous sections of the frontline, and that's where losses of territory sometimes occur

@karthikv1461 It's his voice, I've been following him for nearly two years. However, since he got back from break I've noticed some slight differences in how he pronounces certain words, and that's making me think that he might be using AI to voice the videos instead of recording them himself like he used to. Last year, he mentioned more than once that he was having trouble with his voice and you could hear it - if he has the technology available to spare himself some of the work, it's understandable that he would use it.

He spends his days collecting and reviewing updates from lots of different sources. That's why he got burnt out and needed a month off and then started uploading less frequently.

@jackabbott6325 You do know that Ukraine's been at war for 10 years...? Have you even considered that this man may have served and been injured before the full-scale invasion even began? Are you able to type a single word without whining and judging others? Your comments are starting to make me sick - and considering all the Z-trolls in these threads, the competition is robust

@jackabbott6325 If you don't remember that just after Crimea came the Donbas, and 8 years of active warfare during which many Ukrainians died and many more were injured, we definitely can't talk.

@phaelox Oh yeah, definitely some trolling going on there, but he did give the opportunity to say some things that I think can't be said enough and that's why I decided to engage for a while. That happens to some of my posts too, and I don't mean the few where I've occasionally slipped up and expressed my genuine wishes for those responsible for these atrocities and everyone who supports them.... I mean quite normally, even carefully worded posts, like the ones on this thread

@karthikv1461 Whatever, that's your problem

There are plenty of historical Ukrainian territories in the areas just over the 1991 borders - there's plenty of content about that if you fee like searching. While I've come across the odd Ukrainian voice saying "We should take those back", Ukraine overall isn't interested in taking over rf territory: they just want their own land back and an end to hostilities, and reparations so they can rebuilding and recovering as a nation. Many people say that the republics on the other side of the 1991 border will need to become demilitarised zones, and I personally agree, but that's a very different thing from Ukraine taking over those territories.
2
I agree and I've heard some Ukrainian bloggers say that too, particularly Sternenko
2
Maybe because his face has become part of this channel's recognisable brand?
2
Actually that's not always the case. Often what happens is that some civilians are also returned along with military personnel. That can't happen the other way round, because... Ukraine is not abducting russian civilians

There's no agreement to be found with a genocidal dictator and his minions. And the only thing Ukrainians have definitely not lost is morale.

Do you realise how much work this channel is? Why should this man work for free, do you think he and his family live on thin air? I don't subscribe on Patreon because I can't afford many regular expenses. So I gratefully watch his updates on YT. When I can, I'll send him some cash. In the meantime, I don't whine in the comment section about it.

@jackabbott6325 How about you and your family live on the bare minimum, and tell the rest of us how you like it?

@AnthonyOMulligan-yv9cg Why drag Palestine into this?

Maybe because it's not true...?

You mean on the map? The map shows all place names in the original and in Latin alphabet

Who said anything about marching on moscow? Why would Ukraine want the trouble, when they have their own country to rebuild and defend? It's the Russian Volunteer Corps and Freedom of Russian Legion (I use capital initials here out of respect for them) who want to march on moscow.

@neilgale2292 Who...? This kind of ambiguous comeback is what a lot of trolls tend to post, if you don't like people thinking you're a troll, express yourself clearly

When it did fail, he told us it had failed, when it succeeded, he told it had succeeded. He tells us what's happening and how.

Actually what more and more people are - thankfully - realising is that the kind of comment you have posted here is just russian trolling for beginners. If I decided to engage with its actual content, I would just say that "your country", like many others, will have a much greater mess on its hands unless Ukraine wins this war soon and its own terms. But there's no point engaging with you, because comments like yours are just saying "if we feed Ukraine to putin, he'll get our orange jesus elected again, and that's all we care about".

@Семенсеменыч-с6ч7н Anyone in any way tempted to give this troll the benefit of the doubt, just do an internet search for "Odessa trade union building 2014", you'll find plenty of actual information to get your heads around what happened, why, and how putin's propagandists have been trying to spin it ever since. Look out for the bit where the wannabe separatists shot from the rooftop at the people who were trying to rescue them from the fire. With hindsight, we can also imagine what horrors would have taken place if Odessa had indeed met the same fate as the areas of Donetsk and Luhansk that were occupied in 2014, so what happened then, while awful, was by far not the worst possible outcome.

Look up DeepStateMAP, it's the first thing that comes up. Amazing resource, huge respect to the Ukrainians who keep it going.

@hernan9127 Oh, they are... they just control more land and unfortunately for the planet, have a ton of nukes.
