This is an entertaining thread... but let's not forget that Ukrainians have no interest in annexing russian territory - even historically Ukrainian lands like the areas they are currently occupying. They'll have a difficult enough job reintegrating Ukrainian territories that were occupied for years, why should they waste any energy on russian territories? I think we all understand why they're doing this now.

  2. Ahh, thanks for confirming my gut feeling about the initial comment by amplifying the "corrupt Ukraine" line of the ongoing russian psy-op. Any aid, if it ends up I'm the wrong hands anywhere in the world, could be "money laundered". A donated item could be sold in the black market.

  3.  @up4open763  And if you send Ukraine money, they'll use it as they see fit. To be clear: I'm not against sending items, particularly if the situation is critical to the point that necessary items cannot easily be found. But to imply that any money sent to Ukraine is bound to end up in the hands of corrupt officials is patronising to say the least.
