The guy who was sacked recently, the video shows his picture early on. He was warned this would happen, and didn't listen. Following Ukrainian sources, I've heard people talk about that guy for months - can't remember his name right now, though! - he is hated by almost everyone in or connected to the UAF, he doesn't care about preserving the soldiers' lives. I shudder to think how many will have died in this completely unnecessary breakthrough, and how many more will die trying to reverse it. But this idiot kept getting promoted. He was basically a soviet relic in the UAF, and Zelenskyy (and Zakuzhnyy, who would still have been in post when people starting complaining) really screwed up by not getting rud of him sooner 😓🤬🩵💛

@elmarhinz3076 Whichever part of the front he reports about at any given time, there are always people like you in the comments who feel the need to point out that he's not reporting from somewhere else. If the way RfU does things doesn't suit you, Follow Another Channel.

@AlanStrandbygaard I see your point. I don't know about WW2 but I think that was a choice Churchill made at one point, maybe when a British ship was sunk (if anyone knows about this, please give me some more clues and I promise to educate myself). But I still think transparency is important, particularly in this day and age.

@legyes But the responsibility for that rests with the guy at the top. Especially since he'd been warned... He's been replaced by a younger and much more competent guy, who has the respect of the troops, but he's still doing damage 👿 Hopefully he'll be prosecuted, there are Ukrainians asking for that
