I really want to know more about the history and symbolism of this craft, which is exactly what you covered here with beautiful visuals and as usual clear presentation. I particularly enjoyed the regional details. I thought you might mention Ivan Franko - I watched another vyshyvanka video months ago and they said he was the one who started wearing vyshyvanka shirts when walking around Lviv, when traditional embroidery had come to be seen as "something quaint from the countryside". The vyskyvanka museum is definitely on my list for my first visit to Ukraine, whenever that will be... and if I have a bit of money to spare by then I'd love to take embroidery lessons.
