@greendragon4870 If Ukraine looks like a parody of an independent state to you, it means that the concept of independence makes no sense to you whatsoever. Which is hardly surprising. I mean, thank you for confirming what most people in this comment section think about most russians.

@EspañolconEugenia All those revolutions, and nothing's actually changed from the days of imperial muscovy... mate, that's nothing to be proud of

@Ershowike I'm sorry if this comes as a shock, but most people supporting Ukraine are not in any denial about the fact that the USA has been involved in lots of wars in its relatively short history... This is not about the USA, or Europe, or NATO, it's about Ukraine - getting invaded by russia - not for the first time. Making this war about "the west" is like blaming feminism when a woman gets raped

@sergeypopov8279 I was one of the countless millions vocally opposing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (I still don't know what should have been done in the Balkans, and yes I still think about it - I mean, there was the small issue of Serbia committing genocide). Crucially, I was not afraid of being thrown into prison for 7 or 10 or 15 years for speaking my mind

@dpelpal Apparently Orwell's books are banned in russia at the moment... damn I heard it in a video I watched earlier today but I can't remember which one! (I'm home with the flu - too much YT) Someone wanted to donate books to a library and was given a list of books and authors that would not be accepted, and Orwell's on that list. Unless it was a US late night show video I was watching, and they were talking about Florida 🥺

@sergeypopov8279 This isn't about resurrecting anyone, stop derailing... russia invaded a sovereign country that was trying to mind its own business - that country asked for help, and naturally asked the countries most likely to provide that help. Those countries have screwed up a lot in the past - let's hope that's firmly in the past now - they are now, for once, doing the right thing. That's it.

Good parallel - after all, the rf is run by gangsters

@GotterVibez That IS a lot of people!

@ВераЗеленкина-п9з Actually they've just changed their minds about Roald Dahl's books... exactly for that reason. You will never be able to pass anything happening in russia with what's happening in the rest of the world (unless you pick one of your illustrious allies...) - you will simply not be able to make the comparison stick. But I'm sure you're fully able to convince yourself that you did

@holygen8697 What does "system of Biden" even mean...? And who's the one and only American you think should destroy it? You trolls will only have a chance to win when YouTube launches the "Most Incoherent Comment" prize

Is there a reliable, up-to-date source of countries still doing business in / with the rf? For boycotting and campaigning purposes

@beckyohare You'd want to build walls too if someone was planning to run tanks over your borders. I'd much rather build real or metaphorical walls than help finance a genocide
