@lorenzopippia5257 You really need to read about slavery before you use that word in relation to Italy and the US. And this is coming from someone who grew up there - I do think the US had a negative influence on Italian politics over the decades, though Italians also have themselves to blame for many of the things that keep going wrong there. Considering that Italy was allied with the nazis, which is why it "lost the war", we should be grateful it got away in one piece instead of getting split down the middle like Germany. Ending up as a vassal state of the soviet union and then the russian federation would have been immeasurably worse, and you know that as well as I do.
