@johncombo trump lost the popular vote by way more than "half" in 2016, but still became president (and could again) because of the "electoral college", which means that the popular vote can be ignored. The USA is up to its neck in problems it has created for itself since its inception, mostly by assuming it must be the best country in the world and therefore it - and its rulers - could do no wrong. The way a huge number of their inept, corrupt politicians are now using Ukraine as a political football makes my blood BOIL.

@engletinaknickerbocker5380 Your great electoral system allowed a conman to run for president (just demanding to see everybody's taxes before they can run would have spared the world trump). Then he, like others before him, was allowed to "run" the country for 4 years in spite of losing the popular vote, again thanks to this great system you have. Now he's being allowed to run again, in spite of overwhelming evidence of his criminality. Don't make me laugh
