True, but I also get the feeling that Daniil sometimes laughs when he is truly shocked. And it must be shocking to hear a person, right there with you in real time, openly call for genocide. Credit to Daniil, he has honed the perfect response to keep up the interview and stay out of trouble

@andreanagy4801 Literally every 1420 comment section now has a bunch of comments implying that Daniil is either "connected", in the FSB or bribing someone in power. That seems to be the strategy that's being employed to discredit the channel in its viewers' eyes, and I think it's important to do what you did here.

@szbalazs2073 I'm very wary of anyone who's convinced themselves that their opinion is "common sense" - of course such a thing as common sense does exist, but the concept is often used to dismiss people who have in some way rattled our cage. Over the past few years I've realised that the main thing to know about the russian system is that it doesn't make sense - so it's not that implausible that while a child's drawing can lead to a man receiving a substantial custodial sentence and losing custody of his child to her estranged mother, a couple of smart young guys can fly under the radar as they walk around asking people questions. Another thing about a country like russia is that people have got used to sneaking around, in a way that many of us can hardly imagine, because of how free we are in comparison. I don't think I've ever seen one of the images Daniil shows interviewees actually appear on the screen, and he certainly doesn't share them online.

@elenapizza3364 Thank you for identiying yourself as one of putin's disembodied mouths. The fact that 1420 were already in existence before the beginning of russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine adds to their credibility. And considering the country they're living in, mocking is inevitable and indeed brave. In short: your contempt is a compliment.

@OurFamily- From the original comment, it doesn't sound like those texts still mention the soviets now, the person used the past tense. Presumably it would have been hard - and dangerous - to change during soviet times.

@szbalazs2073 I never said he was showing people a blank screen, just that the footage that ends up online doesn't include images the government doesn't want people to see, or believe are real. I'm not eating your "common sense" shtick at all, the way you express yourself gives the impression that you are strongly biased against this channel, if not a troll.
