Thanks for this video, it's so interesting to hear from the people of Belarus. Also, as someone learning Ukrainian with no prior Slavic background, when I hear Belarusians speak russian I tend to understand a bit more than when people from the russian federation are speaking.

@mytarot2888 What's racist about noting that as a foreigner, I can make out more words when I hear russian spoken by Belarusians than by citizens of the rf? Did I at any point suggest that Belarusians speak it better - or worse? Belarusian is closer to Ukrainian than to russian, so as someone learning Ukrainian it's not surprising that I would find the cadence of russian spoken by Belarusians a little easier to navigate. I'm wondering whether you felt obliged to insult me because by spelling "russian" with a small initial, or simply by the fact that I'm learning Ukrainian, I am expressing my support for a country that the rf is currently attempting to wipe off the face of the earth by genocide it's people.
