  1. A Su-30 fighter jet crashed during a training flight in the Kaliningrad region today. The crew of the aircraft was killed, the press service of the Western Military District said. The Su-30 that crashed in the Kaliningrad region became the eighth combat aircraft to crash in Russia since the beginning of 2023. In early February, an Su-25 attack aircraft crashed in the Belgorod region after carrying out a combat mission. The pilot was killed. In April, a MiG-31 fighter jet crashed in the Murmansk region, but the pilots managed to eject. In May, a Russian Air Force air group, including Mi-8 helicopters, a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Su-35 fighter, crashed in the Bryansk region. Nine people were killed in this crash. During the Wagner PMC mutiny on 24 June, a Russian Air Force Il-22M was shot down in the Voronezh region. All 10 crew members died. In July, a MiG-31 fighter jet crashed in the Kamchatka region, and an Su-25 attack aircraft fell into the Sea of Azov near the town of Yeisk.
