  1. Well, Denmark couldn't possibly see 300 years into the future. As to why the Russians are harping about a 300-year-old victory, perhaps somebody informed them that WWII was not single-handedly won by Russians, so they're having to reach further back to find some national glory.

  4. And, the alcoholic Margarita should certainly have her beers straight. I hope Jake features the latest release from Russian Media Monitor, where Solovyov kicks one of the commentators out, and as the guy stomps out you can hear the sound of a bottle getting kicked over. The folks on the Solovyov show get plastered before each presentation!

  5. Practically NOBODY who has been under Russian rule seems to like them. Sure, the Russians have their fanboys in Africa, South America, India, etc, but just about every former SSR or Warsaw Pact country - anyone who was under their control - loathes them.
