  2. Hi there, you appear to be a Russian troll, and that is good. I need to consult a person with expertise in Russian cuisine. I am planning to cook a pot of borscht, but most traditional recipes seem to include vinegar, which I don't care for. Is it ever acceptable to make borscht without vinegar? Any help you can provide would be much appreciated, and would constitute a major step toward reconciliation between Russia and the West.

If Russia continues trying to operate ocean-going vessels, every nation along whose coastline they merrily sail is going to go broke constantly deploying Coast Guard craft to perform rescues and oil spill containment. Is that Putin's dastardly plan? To make every country spend their entire national budget on their Coast Guard, leaving nothing for any other defense?
