@willywonka4340 I think the Yangtze River ran dry, no kidding. Not being able to produce enough food to feed your own people or provide safe drinking water, while threatening WW3 is really harebrained.

@ph1380 a military official of Taiwan already said they wouldn't rule it out. the water level is so low it isn't producing much electricity. An attack on the dam in these conditions may be less a humane catastrophe while still having the desired effect to the system.

@marierocher4422 China is in no condition to fight a war. The protests making Xitler relent on his COVID despotism only reminded the people that they can revolt if the conditions justify it. Its economy and standard of living would only revert to 1950's isolation and communist era atrocities. It would only become dependent on Russia after letting Russia go it alone, instead of invading Taiwan at the same time. Like Putin with Ukraine, Xi Jinping would have little to gain and everything to lose now.
