The Cold War

Comments by "DEXTER\x27S LURE LAB" (@secretbassrigs) on "" video.
Technically, the Korean War was a United Nations Police Action. For some reason the Soviet Union's UN representative was strangely absent when voting on it, particularly when the Soviet Union approved and funded the invasion of South Korea by North Korea.

@loganw1232 technically, propaganda is politically motivated speech funded by a government to promote its values. Therefore, it can be considered propaganda even when a commercial entity promotes one political perspective over another, if it's paid for by a government. Americans are against propaganda, but in favor of education. Unfortunately today, education has become radically propagandized in the US. That's why Conservative Americans want to dismantle the Department of Education. Dismantling is better than propagandizing from our perspective. Let states determine their educational standards as they see fit. It's how a government for the people by the people works.

@loganw1232 as far as I know, private schools in the US have all the freedom they need when they do not receive federal or state funding. Chapter schools I don't know enough about, but I do know federally funded religion based charter schools do exist in the US.

@ImperialDemocracy you're arguing that there is no difference between Free Speech and Propaganda. I'm saying there is a fundamental difference between the two. A private entity (aka human being) in the US has the right to due process no matter who they are. The outcome of that due process is always meant to define when it's propaganda or if it's free speech. If they're a foreign agent, registered or not, they are propagandists.

North Korean comics are unspeakably depraved.
2
@ImperialDemocracy private institutions are funded by someone, corporate or philanthropic. I wouldn't call it propaganda because they're considered private entities with freedom of speech rights.
2
@ImperialDemocracy what communist country actually has freedom of speech as Americans define it?
2
@ImperialDemocracy COMMUNIST INSTITUTIONS ARE PURELY POLITICAL
2
@ImperialDemocracy this is what I said, "technically, propaganda is politically motivated speech funded by a government to promote its values. It's how a government for the people by the people works."
2
@ImperialDemocracy free speech is not propaganda.
2
@ImperialDemocracy it does matter. Propaganda is not free speech. It's why the Foreign Agent Registration Act exists today in the US.
2
@ImperialDemocracy and I'm saying propaganda is not protected under the 1st Amendment.
2
@ImperialDemocracy you can't have free speech if it's undermined by propaganda. Free speech requires transparency. False advertising is not protected under the First Amendment either.
2
@ImperialDemocracy Anti-Propaganda Act of 1940 or Voorhis Anti-Propaganda Act is a United States statute requiring the registration of organizations subject to foreign control while accomplishing activities in the United States.
2
@eldeguello9154 mostly Korean troops. UNFORTUNATELY the UN has been corrupted by capitalistic communism with Chinese characteristics.
2
@ImperialDemocracy you mean advertising and marketing. It's not propaganda if it's privately funded for commercial gains. Name brands that independently make political statements in privately funded advertisements and campaigns, to benefit their recognition as a name brand are not technically propagandizing. They're virtue signaling for profit, hoping to improve their name brand recognition. But it often backfires, as it did with Bud Light, when they do get political. That's why most do not get political. It's another reason why DEI has become such a disaster. It's incredibly hypocritical.
1
@ImperialDemocracy Communists do not have freedom of speech.
1
@ImperialDemocracy Comintern Imperialism masquerades as Democracy. You cannot have any democracy without the people having free speech, freedom of information, and equal representation of the law guaranteed by a Bill of Rights. Men are not equal if there is no equal representation of the law.
1
@ImperialDemocracy bi dude? 😂🤮
1
@ImperialDemocracy Okay, Bi Dude! Lol!
1
@ImperialDemocracy Commies love false equivalencies.
1
@ImperialDemocracy communism is fundamentally Atheist.
1
@ImperialDemocracy freedom of speech give people the ability to question and reveal propaganda. Propagandists ultimately expose their gas lighting through their own freedom of speech.
1
@ImperialDemocracy Communist propagandists use false equivalencies and platitudes because nothing they've done has been proven to be better than just letting humanity be at its best.
1
@ImperialDemocracy Communist institutions in the US are FUNDAMENTALLY POLITICAL. That's my point.
1
@ImperialDemocracy you need to reread what I actually said.
1
@ImperialDemocracy try not to sound like a propagandist.
1
@ImperialDemocracy if it's politically motivated and funded by any political party, it propaganda.
1
@ImperialDemocracy you're argument is that there's no difference between free speech and propaganda. Clearly, you are trying to justify propaganda. Lies are free speech when they're not narratives of and motivated by a political entity.
1
@ImperialDemocracy you need to read the entire paragraph/comment.
1
@ImperialDemocracy all you're doing is proving what propaganda actually looks like through your own debating tactics. FREE SPEECH IS NOT PROPAGANDA! Foreign governments do not have freedom of speech protections in the US.
1
@ImperialDemocracy marketing for consumer sales is not politically motivated. It's profit driven.
1
@ImperialDemocracy FREE SPEECH IS NOT PROPAGANDA.
1
Propaganda is speech that is derived from political entities. Private entities are not supposed to be derived from political entities or be under the control of a political entity. It's why the PNTR with China act has been more than a failure. It has become the greatest national security threat the US has ever had to deal with.
1
@ImperialDemocracy private entities have free speech rights, not free propaganda rights.
1
@ImperialDemocracy No, a foreign government and a think tank can't put out an identical pamphlet or video full of identical content and be considered free speech. You're saying that.
1
@ImperialDemocracy I said it isn't protected under the 1st Amendment. 🤦♂️ The Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) of 1938 aims to promote transparency about foreign influence in the United States. It requires individuals acting on behalf of foreign entities to register with the Department of Justice (DOJ) and disclose their activities, finances, and relationship with the foreign entity. The goal is to ensure the public and government are aware of foreign agents and their attempts to influence policy, public opinion, or laws.
1
@ImperialDemocracy read my comment again.
1
@ImperialDemocracy lol! Do you know how laws work? The Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) of 1938 aims to promote transparency about foreign influence in the United States. It requires individuals acting on behalf of foreign entities to register with the Department of Justice (DOJ) and disclose their activities, finances, and relationship with the foreign entity. The goal is to ensure the public and government are aware of foreign agents and their attempts to influence policy, public opinion, or laws.
1
@ImperialDemocracy propaganda can be defined as being false and deceptive, intended to mislead a population in favor of a foreign adversarial power.
1
@ImperialDemocracy if the think tank is under the legal obligation to give final edit of its public communications to a foreign political party, especially when that think tank claims to be domestic, it's disseminating propaganda.
1
@ImperialDemocracy in the US, the think tank must be independent of any government, including the US Federal Government . In China, their think tanks are under the soul authority of the CCP.
1
@ImperialDemocracy Private"think tanks" in China are under the soul authority of the CCP. Private "think tanks" in the US are independent and private entities not under sole authority of the Federal Government.
1
@ImperialDemocracy propaganda can be defined as lies and misleading the public.
