Would you prefer someone who is actively serving in the military or someone with no military experience running your defense company? Do some research on how the military of Russia and China doesn't separate active officers from working with their military contractors and see if that's why they are unable to complete technologically. He's no way near being corruptible by those standards.

  23.  @jaysouth4564  sourced from the New York Times: the bulk of the money spent on Ukraine went to traditional foreign aid packages. 12.5 billion was spent on weapons and related supplies that existed pre invasion. A "good percentage" went to other countries in Europe to assist Ukraine.

Only 15,000 Russian losses during Russia's invasion of Afghanistan from 1979-1989. Compare that to +30,000 Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine in only three months. this is how despotic regimes threatening global warfare against the US are defeated without having to go to war with them.
