They know it. including a devastating international backlash economically, If China chooses to cause mass casualties in their invasion, so can Taiwan counter attack with hypersonic missiles. 300,000,000 million mainland chinese could be washed away overnight if they strike the Three Gorges Dam. It provides electricity to military bases, it's a legal military target. Xi Jinping has been promising to invade Taiwan for ten years. He better poop or get off the pot! but he's terrified of losing power because of the retribution he will receive for his betrayals to his most loyal cadres. CHINA WONT INVADE TAIWAN.   16.  @Zeusrog7974  china will be bankrupted so quickly and the people of china will suffer immensely under wartime status.  The USA doesn't need to invade china because it already turned the CCP into the worlds largest Slave Labor contractor by western standards. And the US will not be taking the lead but will provide plenty of military support. Wumao should be careful what they ask for. the US could be their last hope to avoid another self imposed catastrophic Chinese era of suffering.
