  2. at most it should be something statutory. it's not like that one lady with an elementary school kid. but yeah, they're in it for the money IMO. Jessie and the vulture said it themselves, it's like they were acting out some fetish fantasies. I wouldn't want to punish them for something i would have felt grateful for. that's why there's a clear difference due to the difference in gender. there really has to be something damaging in my opinion.

  4. meh. i doubt its really an equivalent. and the argument should be that there's an obvious difference between the genders. making the argument they're making just implies their is no gender difference. if the teacher was hideouse and the student felt coerced thats different. The level of trauma, if there is any, can't be seen as equivalent without some very obvious victimization. they have a fighting chance for acquittal under special circumstances, favorable chance for reasonable plea bargaining.
