Officer Tatum made himself sound like he could be the same as those violent hoodlums parents. thats the original sin that allowed the situation to fester into the out of control environment that took that boys life. the thugging was nornalized when it should never had been tolerated. Not just to protect the innocent, but also to protect those boys that have now turned into murderers. I know Tatum corrected himself, but, he was still ambiguous enough that the root cause wasn't addressed. The thuggery has unfortunately become recognized as a cultural difference. Like racism has zero tolerance protocols, so should the gang mentality and behavior have a zero tolerance policy in every aspect of the education system. I HOPE THAT BOY'S FAMILY SUES THE SCHOOL DISTRICT For as much as they can, especially for punitive damages. The teachers and administrators know about that alleyway as being a place of life threatening violence, but they normalized it, and they all became complicit through their own individual apathy towards the location and the behaviors they allowed to continue.

@briteeyes2133 can you imagine raising children that would be so criminally oriented psychologically, or so socially ill tempered they'd willfully cause law enforcement officials to shoot them? Kids aren't born to be natural menaces to society. they have to learn to think and act that way. no morals. no compassion. no empathy. no sense of shame. no conscience. Ive heard of bad Pit Bulls with bad owners, but these kids are far more terrifying. Can you imagine being a kid having to go to school with these animals? Unfortunately, all the other kids at that school did not have to imagine it. they had to live it everyday while the school did nothing to protect them.
