The subsidized industry in Taiwan pays licensing fees to Tech Companies in the US. that's why the argument that the US can't make chips is a bogus one, coming from CCP propagandists too ashamed to admit they are Chinese and CCP supporters.

in the long run, the CCP needs to step down before China can advance on it's own. For example, the technology to replace Lithium batteries is rapidly progressing and near completion. Historically, the CCP always doubles down too soon, in very tragic ways for the people of China.

Trump was being mostly restricted by the Democrat party, Big Tech, and Private Equity. The middle ground for Trump was to get a balanced trade agreement. Then COVID-19 happened. IMO, Biden is just trying to shake off his Hunter Biden exposure. Either way, it's best for world peace because China and North Korea will not be able to make more advanced weapons to threaten the free world.
