When the Soviet Union still existed, PRC China was considered a fair weather friend. When the Soviet Union dissolved, under a relatively peaceful military coup, the US thought the Cold War was over. For communist China, their economic and propaganda Cold War against the US, just started.

@relaxingwhitenoiseandsound9371 That's because Russia was probably price gouging China. 😂

@JohnnyChronic18 why does China use human bots on social media platforms, by the millions, to pollute public perceptions in the US, with their disinformation campaigns? Poisoned fruit from a poisonous tree.

China would be better off in the long run if a war did break out. It would bring about the end of the tyrannical one party rule of the Chinese Communist Party in China, when they are justly defeated. Instead of naming china,, the Peoples Republic of China, the CCP should have called it, the Republic of the Chinese Communist Party, to be more accurate. 😂

@TannerSwizel In China, "the company" is the Communist Party, and The individual is considered a national security risk. That's why PRC (mainland) China has no freedom of expression, no human rights, and no equal protection of the law, for their citizens. Foreigners in China have more rights in China than Chinese citizens in China. Just like Chinese citizens have more rights outside of China than they do in their own country! It's such a bizarre web of contradictions and unmentionable sufferings. I should know, I am Chinese, after all. Are you?

@JohnnyChronic18 also, it probably feels that way to you probably because you are a Chinese national, sitting in a mainland hovel, never knowing true freedom of information, and being paid to bot for the CCP or you'll starve to death.

@xdragus Gordon Chang's predictions from "10 years ago" have basically come true already. Look at China's collapsing real estate market and collapsing manufacturing industry. China's National Debt is only exploding. Chinese banks and corporations are defaulting and going bankrupt. How are they going to pay for oil when they go bankrupt?
