When using Google AI, it describes Tommy having trouble avoiding the events of Tiananmen Square due to the extraordinary amount of surveillance wherever he went in Beijing. I'm definitely going to watch it to get his take on it. When it happened, I was a young teenager in 1989 and was glued to the television during the two months of the peaceful protest there.

@Bonsaiman1 I don't buy it. In Los Angeles, being sober disabled and homeless is where section 8 prioritization steps in. It's actually very underreported how many lose their section 8 eligibility due to the problems most homeless people have. So it actually takes less time than it does for most cases.

@TonyMarselle I can't help thinking that way about Small Brains, but I can't say the same for Tommy. I think the CCP really dislikes Tommy because they can't falsely criticize him for being "anti China", while pretending not to recognize he's anti authoritarian. His episode in Xinjiang China has nuances that speak louder than any CCP propaganda that might be reflected in the content. And the fact that Russia had to intimidate him by imprisoning him falsely, shows how he isn't a CCP shill. China wouldn't want one of their white monkey shells to look like a spy. It would reflect poorly on their ability to secure their country.

@mattinflux6263 no, it's got nothing to do with capitalism other than the pitfalls that a productive of and compassionate society can afford. The problems you see in downtown Los Angeles today are the results of decades of misguided and often profit motivated inclusive socialist policies that attracted the entire countries drug addicted and homeless. The majority of homeless in California are originally from out of state.
