@JeremyPickett please stop projecting and making ad hominem personal attacks against me by implying that I have a lack of awareness regarding our political relationship with China. Especially any claims that my concerns are not warranted and obtuse. I'm simply explaining the implications in your failure to address, let alone recognize, about your original post comparing the potential destruction of human lives and infrastructure, in your area, and those in China. That is what you were doing, if you didn't consciously intend to or not.
You mentioned how the three dams upstream from you are more than 80 years old, comparing such a catastrophe to what's potentially already happening, or potentially likely to happen not unforeseen in China. Especially when you consider the PRC not being 80 years old, actually already happens to have a long record of failed dams (and intentionally destroyed dams) that cost massive amounts of life in China?
What's so obtuse about asking for more elaboration, if you are not simply parroting the propaganda department of China? Something we both should already have been aware of them doing in the US for many years, the promoting FALSE EQUIVALENCY NARRATIVES, between the US and mainland China? It should be obvious to anyone familiar with the actual history of the CCP and current events involving their continuing hostile and projected rhetoric towards us being the greatest modern threat to the sovereignty of mainland China today.
We should both know how preposterous such unfounded undeserved claims about the US actually are given our all the assistance we have sacrificed for China's well being and independent sovereignty.
Your failure only adds more merit to those of us WHO ARE REASONABLY SUSPICIOUS and have been long aware and concerned about the affects of the CCPs orchestrated social media influence campaigns on average Americans. Particularly now, for the current Tok Tok influenced GEN Z, that essentially grew up not being warned about the misinformation and obfuscation of human rights atrocities still happening in China under Xi Jinping.
