  1. The black lady who was ejected for being a "squatter" was pitiful, but I think there had been negligence on her part that doomed her case. She was a lessee but couldn't produce a copy of the agreement with the landlord? You were a renter but don't have a written copy of what your obligations are under the law? Don't landlords issue receipts every time their renters pay? That should be her strongest evidence that she was a bona-fide tenant.
