  3. The CCP can feel the citizens' anger and dissatisfaction with their mismanagement of the country. It's hilariously ridiculous of them to resort to such inane measures bordering on paranoia. Safe to assume the threat of insurrection is in the air. CCP's attempt to distract the people with the hosting of the Asian Games had backfired bigtime, exacerbating the growing anger as the citizens take it as insensitivity and a skewed priorities by the government. I bet Winnie and the CCP members will be recusing themselves from the public until things cool down first.

  5. It indicates that petty crimes like extortion, muggings, pickpocketing, theft and the like, are getting common in cities of China for the regime to get this paranoid about security. Rising poverty, unemployment and other deprivations are driving people to crime. A hungry stomach knows no law. Despite its draconian laws, China won't be able to repress human nature when driven into desperation. Interesting times.
