  2. Your comparison is off-tangent. In America, they're upfront about the costs. Quite expensive, yes, but not a scam which involves lies, shortchanging, and misrepresentation to trick you. You know what you are getting into and how much you have to shell out. No hidden purchases, no deceptive come-ons, and definitely no bullying nor coercion into availing of nor buying anything or else. Quite opposite to China.

  8. Well, they were not forced to cater to tourists. If they earn enough doing fishing, why would they allow themselves to be included in the itenerary? They joined because they need the income from tourists, but they don't have to be too greedy.
