Humiliating your child in public because he failed your expectations is doubly cruel.

"Hurting the feelings of Chinese people" had been made illegal in China.

But it shows poverty among people, and hurts the feelings of Chinese people. Weren't those banned already in China?

That so-called "Quantum Learning" method was definitely a state-sponsored scam. What metaphysical hubris will enable you to memorize a 100,000-word book by just cursorily leafing through it BLINDFOLDED? Even a person with a photographic memory needs to read the document to consign it to memory and yet those scammers think they can do it in 5 minutes? When it was revealed that the "technique" can be had if you shell out money, plus the state media endorsing it to gullible parents, was the clincher.

And you aren't even sure if the "chicken" in KFC China is actually chicken, and not some miracle chicken concocted by voodoo ingredients.

China is raising their children to become soldiers. Don't ask questions, don't think critically, obey and believe every thing the State and the Party tells you, under pain of mental, emotional and physical punishment. Basically, just automatons dedicated to serve and be loyal to the CCP. Starting them young by encouraging preschoolers to snitch on their classmates and, eventually, their own families. No wonder, China's schools have become a prison and an indoctrination centers.

The economic crisis is tearing China's social fabric at the seams. Every one is affected including, but most especially, children. Being humiliated and, adding insult to injury, being posterized as a wretched lot just because they were less-off than the rest of their classmates. Something is definitely wrong when children are shamed and ostracized because of their economic status. For a country that loves to claim their system as superior than the others, China is more corrupt and more exploitative than those it portrays as inferior.
