  4. Chinese people have no confidence in China's future so they save as much as they can in the banks. The banks, in turn, use the money to lend to the people for essentials, or for housing and car loans. Real estate and scamming businesses abscond with tbe money, leaving the borrower with an empty bag and, worse, with a debt that could not be repaid as banks put up all obstacles to keep the depositors' money in their vaults. In the end, depositors get hit with a double-whammy. Moral lesson: don't put your money in a bank in China and save yourself the grief.
