  1. Odd that Chinese were taking the trains to get away from the city just AFTER a tremor. If the tracks buckled due to the earthquake, it could result in a horrific derailment. Crowding inside train stations when a more powerful earthquake might hit could send the roof to collapse unto their heads. And driving on the roads in the dark after an earthquake is also discouraged. Sinkholes, subsidence, landslides or fissures may happen or appear and pose danger to motorists. They should be staying in a wide open area away from buildings as aftershocks will occur.
