Faith and salvation are the selling points. For these evangelists, to be poor is good in the eyes of God. "Blessed are the poor, for they will be closer to God".

@Hunching-z8q the cartel would've figured out by now that something being transported in a cover must be something very valuable and profitable, so it wont matter.

What I find ridiculous was when she said that there is a so-called, "pet fee" included among her schedule of fees, "even if you own the trailer". So basically, her pets were also paying rent? Absurd!

Despite that headache-inducing inflation, Argentina is still managing to avoid the fate that befell Sri Lanka and Venezuela. With prices nearly doubling, daily survival becomes a challenge.

An interview that quickly turned into a debate. The reporter could have done better to get more answers instead of being confrontational right from the start.

People are still in denial stage. 20 year mega drought? Should it last for 30 more years, will they call it "hyper drought"? LOL
5
lebanon the new venezuela? nope. lebanon has no socialist/communist government, is not reliant on oil as export, is not under US sanctions, and, last but not the least, has not had inflation reaching up to 2 million percent. so how could it suffer the same fate?

Only if you're a hindu Indian.
2
You might as well let the cartels escort the transport
2
@yobanyvargas662 "what are ya buyin'?"
2
@toastedgummi2105 could be worse... if somebody sell you mexico itself😅
2
Maybe they should vote Messi next election. He may cast his magic and fix their country.
2
As if the murderous cartels will behave and just follow the rules if you legalize drugs. Yeah, right.

unfortunately, the proof would be obtained via a seance

He's protected by cops who gets "benefits" from his operation.

Argentinian government must be the world's biggest employment agency with the most number of useless employees.
1
@phoenix0282 i hope the cartels dont get a cut from those donations. lol
1
Simple procedure: Spend money for subsidies and free stuffs. Next, run out of money. Next, government goes bankrupt. Next, borrow money from international lenders. Next, spend the money on more free stuffs. Ad nauseam.
1
nobody cares. go bring your miseries elsewhere.
1
Ignorance is bliss. Foreigners who believe that they know what's best for these tribes who have lived their lives in relative peace for thousands of years were actually the ones bringing disruption and trouble to their communities.
1
The assembly that drafted it was dominated by progressives, leftists and 'woke' people. That was its undoing. Chileans basically distrusted the new constitution crafted by the same breed of people responsible for some absurd policies being applied in certain countries. The people of Chile might have grown sick and tired of the Pinochet-era constitution, but they don't want a situation that's amounts to "from the frying pan to the fire".
1
It was overrun by gangs that the Haitian government couldn't control.
1
@thebigmaclarry1352 hmm, i dont think it would be easy to refuse giving "donations" to a guy lugging a rifle.
1
But... But the government always help their citizens, right?
1
When you get the two genders on each other's throat, you prevent them from procreating. Less birth, declining population.
1
@erossolano50 but could they realistically protect you from cartels armed to the teeth with those rifles?
1
Russia's treatment of the Ukrainian kids seems far better than those of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang. At least, they allow the mothers to reunite with their children, and the childrens' body language were more spontaneous and more genuine than those of Uyghurs' fake and contrived behavior.
1
@illusions611 but with nothing but hunting rifles, how could these vigilantes even hope to match the cartels' firepower if the cartels decide to move against these checkpoints?
1
El Salvador allowed bitcoin in their economy a couple of years ago and they seem to be doing fine.
1
They know what's happening but don't want to say it loud. A taboo subject no one would touch first.
1
Those are the so-called "anchor babies". Those pregnant migrants are counting that they would be giving birth in US soil so they would have automatic US citizenship.
1
Switzerland is expensive, like Singapore. Only for the well-to-do hombres.
1
You are going to break Obama's heart.
1
It was actually putin's.
1
but it has to be done to prevent the problem from growing into a monster like.what happened mexico where the cartels have turned into a defacto government rivalling the federal one
1
Gangs😢😢
1
There have been reports that the seas off the west coast are contaminated by toxic wastes, the reason why there seems to be no interest building desalination plans along that route.
1
i thought the president of el salvador have already suppressed the gangs in his country?
1
Lovecraft so you're saying a vigilante group is a cartel on its own right except in name only?
1
@kevray just curious : if a cartel guy is dressed casual, how do you differentiate him from an ordinary civilian?
1
@Migsir oh, i thought you dont like them because they might be cartels' minions. My bad😕
1
With their current economic miseries, I think Argentines would prefer being taken over by the US😋
