  5. They want to be self-sufficient in rice? Seriously? Cultivating rice requires huge amounts of water, something that a mostly desert country like Iran, lacks. Maybe they should have been more realistic with their objectives in the first place. Corruption must be so bad with dam-building mania nobody gave a thought whether they were necessary or not.
