I think Ukraine will make sure its troops have adequate winter gear and supplies - something Putler could care less about while he and his criminal organization sit in their nice gold plated, warm palaces. Ukraine has one winter of battle under their belt and have learned what worked and what didn't. They are better equipped as well.
