  1. Question: If the Russian army is in such bad shape through desertions, poor training, inadequate supply lines, no leadership, massive desertions, failing equipment, and God knows what else they screw up - why are the battle lines basically stagnant? Every day, the Dude reports movements of only a few meters in one direction or the other. What am I missing here?
