You've hit the nail on the head perfectly, Rick. Music today can be created by anyone because it's too easy to do. I am a musician who started learning in the 60s. Up until about the mid 80s, we created music in the fashion you described. Today, they manufacture music. Any Bozo can do it, which is an insult to clowns everywhere. You said it best, "Music is too easy to create today." And that's why most of it sucks.
