I appreciate these types of videos on Mississippi period sites and the Mississippian culture. I've recently been fortunate enough to visit a lot of mound sites from three different time periods: Poverty Point, Mazique, Emerald, The Grand Village, and Moundville. I did some excavations for a field school at Mazique recently, staying in an antique house in Natchez. My research focuses on the greater Mississippian phenomenon, so I have read much about the major mound centers. As such, if you ever need some suggestions on literature for one of these videos, I would gladly offer some to you. I have plenty of PDFs too.
I'm curious, how do you select which sites you do videos for? What makes some of these special enough, and how will you cover them (if at all) once you get the big 4 (Cahokia, Spiro, Moundville, Etowah) out of the way? Are you only doing the well-known and well-studied ones? There are so many mound centers, you could realistically spend the rest of your life covering them. Maybe that's your goal
