We saw in Christchurch, the shooter went in and killed 50 people without any resistance. If one person had a gun, they could have stopped him. By the way, you cannot buy an AK-47 in the US.

  4. Bad idea, a cop - and any civilian for that matter - may take out a suspect if they pose a reasonable threat to the officer or others. It means that the suspect doesn’t need to be actively aggressive to be deemed a viable threat, we’ve seen this when officers killed a armed suspect running away. Because the suspect was armed, he posed a reasonable threat to the public. The cop got off by the way. In contrast, a cop shot an unarmed suspect running away. That’s murder, as he wasn’t a reasonable threat to the officer or anyone else. He got charged with 2nd degree murder I believe. I’ll try and find the names.
