  7. This is just stupid. The laws of thermodynamics have no conflict with changing our cars from combustion to electric. Where will the power come from? The sun? Nuclear power? There’s a limitless number of options. If EVs were a good idea, they would be widespread? They are a good idea, they just aren’t good enough yet . Electric vehicles have gotten more advanced over the past few years - and we will continue to see this trend.

  8.  @johndodson8464  yeah, the batteries are super heavy. Batteries are very inefficient at storing energy (compared to something like fuel). However EVs can save alit of weight on other parts - like the engine - due to its reduced complexity.

  12. During the Texas power outage, fuel pumps didn’t work either. So no matter the car - you were f*cked. EVs automatically recharge overnight, so you will always have a full tank. While a ICE might be close to empty. So either way - you are better off in a EV
