BrightTV it is when it will cost every family 70k. And electric cars are good, I do see a future, but they just don’t have the range nor the charge time to make up. Plus it will put huge strain on our electricity grid, meaning that if his plans are to completely sgut down 60% of our power, it will need to be replaced quickly. In the plan it also says about ending nuclear power, one of the cheapest Sources in the long run. I’m not going to do the calculations, but I can easily see that not only will this put America trillions in debt, it will raise electricity prices immensely, there is no telling the effect this could have on poor families, and even middle class families- and the us economy. He states 20 million jobs will be made, but there aren’t even 20 million people unemployed. Obviously many of those jobs are going to be replacements of already there jobs - but who paying for those jobs? Not the coal industry.
I know I’m just going on, I’m not really arguing against this. Our source of power must change - but is the money going to be well spent. Is cutting out nuclear- currently 20% of the power grid going to help nature when it has zero emissions? I say the best case scenario is for it to be a mix between nuclear, solar and wind.
