Sam Sung China is using its economic power to bully countries into siding with them. Tariffs on Vietnam, Australia, and turkeys to over a dozen countries for standing up to China. You say we should have an independent investigation? No more trade! You say that Taiwan isn’t a part of China? No more money for you! We are leaving the fate of the world in the hands of a totalitarian government.

Donna Whitley it’s more than the virus. No you shouldn’t be charged for any virus, it’s China’s withdrawal of information, thief tariffs to keep countries silent. They are using this virus that they “didn’t make” to improve their economy at the detriment of everyone else.

Joseph Young the thing is, countries don’t trust China. Many have already banned Huawei after the us advised them. China is doing its own tariffs, and I have a hunch things may flip on their head.

Donna Whitley no but China isn’t threatening nations fir inquiring. They have already put tariffs on Australia for asking, on NZ... they’ve been at the South China Sea again. It’s the bigger picture. China should be cut off from the world, they’ve grown to large as a dictatorship.

Who Boo too much fake news? I live in Australia for fucks sake! They have threatened (and enforced) countless economic sanctions if your dear question the validity of China’s claims. NZ was threatened for simply defending Taiwan (which is its own country by its own rights), it’s taking back control of the South China Sea. Vietnam has been sanctioned, and fishermen forced to exit the sea.

Brian they banned Huawei from setting up national 5G networks... The US has many court cases against Huawei and stealing user data. Any governments as any right to stop the setup of 5G in THEIR country. It’s not an attack in China just Huawei. However these tariffs ARE attacks on a country, it’s intent isn’t to protect its citizens but to silence Australia.

Brian if Australia turned around and said “we are banning all imports of phones from china”, sure that’s an attack. However it’s only referring to one country with a sketchy history, and being “concerned” about national privacy is important.

Brian the US does threaten tariffs, however it’s on countries who are threatening military action, like Iran and NK. They are meant to control countries, yes, but it’s a power that is controlled by a democratic nation - not a totalitarian regime. It’s also that same country that puts billions into foreign aid - more than any other country in the world.

Brian the world is “helping abort their inflation”, instead they invest. For example you can invest in a government bond and get a profit. Your margin will be small but you WILL make the money back - it’s the government. That’s how the US can print money, it’s inserting it into our hands, we purchase things and the economy grows.
