  11. Cod4 Wii not that I stand behind free college, I think that if you choose to go with a private college you are commuting yourself to the debt that ensues. It’s not the governments job to pay off your loans. In all honestly governments should step away from student loans. Let private institutions take over. Ever since 1965, tuition prices have risen rapidly due to the government giving money away like candy. No financial institution would take half the risks the government is with student loans.

  13. Даниил Хрящёв I think protecting people’s rights to self preservation is more important. And above all, protecting the ability of the people to fight off a tyrannical government. You would know seeing as you’re Russian how important it is to be able to stop a tyrannical government. Guns were heavily restricted in the USSR, and even today. There’s many questions over the head of Putin, and the fact that the population is disarmed means there is no chance it will ever be resolved.

It’s natural for governments to slowly form 2 major parties, it’s easier to choose for voters. Not a single country I mention is a two party system, it just naturally is. And unless the Netherlands somehow suppressed certain powerful parties, then it will eventually happen to.

  24. Jack Ward wages are rising, taxes were being cut, ect. Before covid, America was in the best spot it was. Not just for the rich, the poor have steadily been getting richer over time. How many people had cars, or tiny portable computers in their pocket back in the 1950s? What about tvs. Heck, at that time a radio was a luxury.

Under Obama, workforce participation was dropping steadily. Under Trump, workforce participation was increasing... and so was unemployment (unemployment is only measured by those who are willing to be in the work force, so having both a rise in people looking for jobs and drop in unemployment is great). Wages were finally growing, after being rather stagnant for the past few years. Taxes were cut across the board. The only thing trump did badly was spending - but democrats are worse.

Places like New York City do not understand or even feel the effects of the laws put on say middle America. I’m a strong advocate for states having more responsibility. Why? Well it gives the people in that state more of a say over how they are governed, and will encourage a sort of “competition” between states. Let’s say California real eases a M4A plan, other states would need to improve their systems as well to keep up. As we have it now, nothing really happens. People who want Medicare for All don’t get it, people who want a free market system don’t get one, it’s not working for anyone.

  44. We have this debate about Medicare for all, and ACA. The divide is so great around the country - why not leave that power to the states. Californians can do their own healthcare plan, and Texans their own healthcare plan.

  50. This isn’t based off of discrimination. This law was passed because someone saw a lack of a certain group. It wasn’t taken into account life choices and the intelligence of applicants, just that there wasn’t enough blacks.
