Income inequality isn’t a bad thing, it’s natural... wait no, it’s desired in a functioning economy. Those who do better should earn more. Otherwise there is no incentive for doing better

Richard Ball no they don’t. Tax breaks aren’t “control” or trying to hurt poor people, tax breaks incentivise spending and investing, which leads to jobs, profits and down the line a stronger economy with more tax. On the flip side you increase taxes and businesses look to invest elsewhere, get rid of jobs and increase prices - raising living costs, reducing jobs and reducing economic growth leading to a weaker economy in the future with less taxes. The us needs to get a stable growth, with low unemployment and rebuild its industry sector before they talk about raising taxes.

Workin Alday how would you enforce laws? How would you make laws? How would you stop corruption from influencing both of those things?

Most countries, especially well established first works countries, have 2 major parties. The US, Australia, UK, New Zealand just to name a few.

Stef Stokman you do it your way, we do it ours. It doesn’t mean anyone is over or underrepresented. It’s natural for governments to slowly form 2 major parties, it’s easier to choose for voters. Not a single country I mention is a two party system, it just naturally is. And unless the Netherlands somehow suppressed certain powerful parties, then it will eventually happen to.

Jack Ward what do you mean “not to this degree”?

Jack Ward I haven’t seen any issues arise. In fact, I see the lower and middle classes better off now than every before.

Jack Ward wages are rising, taxes were being cut, ect. Before covid, America was in the best spot it was. Not just for the rich, the poor have steadily been getting richer over time. How many people had cars, or tiny portable computers in their pocket back in the 1950s? What about tvs. Heck, at that time a radio was a luxury.

Jack Ward I say we should cut this wasteful government spending, cut taxes and leave these private businesses with more money to innovate and build jobs.

Jack Ward businesses that just store money get left behind. Trump has brought millions of jobs into the us, and cut unemployment. And not only that, he got more people back into the workforce. Under Obama, workforce participation was dropping steadily. Under Trump, workforce participation was increasing... and so was unemployment (unemployment is only measured by those who are willing to be in the work force, so having both a rise in people looking for jobs and drop in unemployment is great). Wages were finally growing, after being rather stagnant for the past few years. Taxes were cut across the board. The only thing trump did badly was spending - but democrats are worse.

It’s pretty true, corporations use political influence to bring in unfair regulations. That’s why I’m against overly invasive regulation
