ExoticGamer because they are statistically poorer

Wallace Bell being bien into poverty isn’t the problem, it’s your attitude and work ethic. In the us, you get free k-12 education. If you work hard, and get into a good university you can go far. Heck, even if your not intelligent you can get a trade, or start your own business.

l h you mean student loan prices are extraordinarily expensive? I agree, and much of the problem is the government. They give out loans left right and center, and universities take advantage of this to bump up their prices. Correcting for inflation, 4-year private university prices have tripled since 1960 (the enactment of the federal student aid). Where you once were able to pay off your university education with a side job, you now have to cut into years of your income down the line. How to fix it? Cut off federal aid, leave it to the private sector... or the universities themselves!

Capitalism incentives innovation by rewarding those who innovate. Capitalism does none of that, and is why it just doesn’t work.

What?

They do...

That’s why tax brackets exist, the wealthy gets out in a higher bracket so get taxed more. The wealthy also provide jobs to the poor.
1
I don’t know about income tax loopholes, usually because it isn’t based off of income but rather just the money you receive as a citizen.
1
Page Jenkins they pay as much taxes as the bottom 90% combined
1
Plus their businesses provide income, jobs and resources to the economy

Cod4 Wii the top 10% contribute 70% of federal taxes. On top of that the businesses they own are taxed separately.
1
Cod4 Wii not wrong, it’s fact. The top 1% alone contribute more than the bottom 90%. Thats because of higher taxes and higher incomes. Here’s a thing, inequality isn’t bad. These rich people are heads of massive multinational corporations that employ thousand to millions of employees- and contribute heavily to the economy.

Now deduct the welfare they receive and you see how progressive the system is. Poor people get so much welfare
1
no online harrassment a maximum benefit for a family of 4 is $680 a month. On top of that you get Medicaid, and access to other forms of welfare.
1
no online harrassment $170 should get you through 1-2 weeks of food if you budget properly. That leaves the other 2 and a big weeks that you spend your own money.

Tax brackets are great, they relieve the poor of taxes while hitting the rich harder.
1
Cod4 Wii the top 1% pays more federal taxes than than the bottom 90%.
1
Cod4 Wii the bottom 90% paid 30% of all federal taxes, while the top 1% solely paid 50%. They pay almost double the tax even though they are 1/90 the population.
1
Cod4 Wii the rich pay their “fair share”
1
Cod4 Wii I never said that low and middle class people were the problem. And again, no. The rich pay more tax. 50% of all federal taxes are paid by the top 1%.
1
Cod4 Wii Jesus Christ, if the IRS day the rich pay tax - they pay tax! And yes, without the “poor” (no one in the us should be poor) you wouldn’t be rich. So what?
1
Cod4 Wii not that I stand behind free college, I think that if you choose to go with a private college you are commuting yourself to the debt that ensues. It’s not the governments job to pay off your loans. In all honestly governments should step away from student loans. Let private institutions take over. Ever since 1965, tuition prices have risen rapidly due to the government giving money away like candy. No financial institution would take half the risks the government is with student loans.
1
So we should charge higher sales taxes on people because they make more?
1
Regressive taxes are bad, so is a wealth tax. And compared to many other countries, the US is quite progressive. Taxes for the lower-class are very low in the US, while other countries like the UK will jump to 40% at just 50k pounds (69k USD). That's without considering their massive payroll tax. It isn't perfect, but it is up their as one of the best.

Paul Jablonski aren’t assets added onto your net income, thus are taxed as normal?
