Why go to all that effort when you will get a better output on the Diesel engine alone.

He’s making a hype train for something he could possibly not deliver. Of course he’s happy to be wrong, it’s all money anyway from the large backing
1
If renewable energy was cheaper, the free market would use it over fossil fuels without missing a beat. Bigger profit margins AND you can put a shiny eco friendly sticker on your company! Which is why your claim is bullshit, because companies aren’t using renewables. And because companies aren’t using renewables, the government has to subsidise them.
1
@joshmerchant8737 it does, but it’s also far more common. If you account for the amount of electricity generated by each method, you would see that fossil fuels get less subsidies. I don’t like subsidies altogether, no matter the reason.

Garret not really. When eyeballing it’s fine, but measurements are supposed to be accurate. That why a simple and versatile base-10 system works, on any scale. Actually it’s so good it’s even the basis of the imperial system.
1
Garret it’s easy to decide by a third, and it’s as accurate as using imperial. Just measure 333 mm. It’s as accurate as say 4 inches to a foot because as humans we aren’t 100% accurate to begin with
1
Garret you are never going to need it more accurate than mm, and if you do, a computer is way more accurate than us
1
Weight, energy efficiency, what if it falls over? Ect
1
@weekiely1233 it didn’t reach Orbital speeds (on purpose).
1
@weekiely1233 was that IFT2 or 3? I thought 3 was meant to run below orbital speeds and lower than LEO. Doesn’t matter though, the rocket can definitely reach orbit. Hopefully IFT4 they can sort out the reentry of the booster and ship

Coal is the most reliable energy source. Although first systems made use of water to get power, coal just was so much cheaper, and more reliable.
1
Not much really, definitely if they’re shipping huge amounts of trucks
1
Lol blaming Elon for California not having high speed rail. No, blame the California state government and Congress.
1
Chevy Taripe hydrogen is both extremely dangerous, and very inefficient. You lose more energy than you get from making hydrogen
1
No it’s not that easy, also that’s a lot of work.
1
And wireless charging loses a lot of energy to heat
1
But they are not you see. His Hyperloop: stupid idea, big hype
1
The longest tank on tank kill is 4.7 kilometres. Imagine sitting in a tank, and out of nowhere a shell decimated it from over 4 kilometres away
1
Yes and no. You fail to put into account the trees we clear which stop production of oxygen. Plus 1 eruption is nowhere near all the pollution, we have been mad polluting for over 300 years
1
Citation needed.
1
Starship has its own launchpad.
1
No because they orbit at such a low altitude if they lost power or were destroyed they’d return to the earth within a few months The real danger are the satellites high up that will be there essentially forever. But they still aren’t much of a danger, and by the time they might be we will have technology to mitigate it. Importantly no model predicts it will never trap us on Earth. We will still be able to fly to the moon or mars, its danger is that it will prevent us from putting things into orbit
1
Where’s the 10-20% coming from? Citation please
1
No there was no way to turn them off and no way to abort. That’s one of the reasons the Challenger crew died
1
I don’t like that idea. So many jobs are built by trucking, unemployment - definitely for Australia - will skyrocket.
1
And is it safe to have self driving trucks? They weigh a lot more so can’t brake or turn quickly, and I’ve seen many lives saved to good truck drivers. Is risking a lawsuit good enough to save on this expense?
1
Zen CaptureAll I’m just saying that there are guidelines, and I doubt they will be passed in a while.
1
Are you French?
1
It’s common in English to use words like “insane” or “ridiculous” to mean the opposite of their literal meanings
1
The benefits would be science. There would be so much to learn from a permanent colony on Mars.
1
“The best” well they’re building flawed electric trucks, I don’t see how they’re the best
1
I guess
1
@pizzaman5169 you can't win wars on morale. You need morale and up to date firepower. The A-10 is outdated, and the only reason it hasn't been outclassed is the wars the US has fight recently were against a force far weaker
1
Or better yet, uranium. Isn’t it about 2x more energy dence?
1
GlanderBrondurg imperial is used by one country, time to move on
1
But it’s not cheap to drop a railway everywhere, there’s a reason people drive long distances in trucks
1
I know, but I’m saying that it’s not cost effective to put trains everywhere.
1
Imagine being so sick to your head you think it's funny for someone to die because they're rich.

💥 Booooom! 💥

Asachana road and bridge strength and road safety

His information is top notch, he goes into the laws of thermodynamics and many scientific papers to find his results.

How old are you? Or are you just really stupid?
