  1. Military equipment is much more expensive today. A WW2 plane when adjusted for inflation would cost just over half a million compared to the cost of a F-35A which is $78 million. It's quality over quantity.

  2.  @pizzaman5169  you can't win wars on morale. You need morale and up to date firepower. The A-10 is outdated, and the only reason it hasn't been outclassed is the wars the US has fight recently were against a force far weaker
