No other country protects your right to the freedom of speech, or the right to have a certain religious belief. No other country is America.

One news reporter who spoke out against certain leaders of Government is now unable to use public transport (train, plane, bus) has restricted internet access, and is spied on anywhere they go through payment details and through surveillance. Your bank can’t do that, but your government can. That’s one of many reasons against this.
