  3. Hydrogen is never happening. Not just because a leak would blow up half an interstate, but because it requires infrastructure that will never be there. Biofuel isn’t a solution. It’s even MORE expensive than normal fuel, which itself is more expensive than an EV.

  4. Charge times and range won’t be an issue. Battery technology is accelerating fast. Density, charge times and price have been dropping quickly.

  8.  @GMDBestBoi  Manufacturing makes up a fraction of the lifetime emissions of a car. 80-90% of carbon emissions comes from usage. And manufacturing an EV is not much more polluting that manufacturing a gas vehicle. And they’re a much newer technology so there’s a lot of room for EVs to lower their emissions further.

  10. No, but petrol car manufacturers do it anyway. EV Sports cars and some Teslas are the only decent looking EVs.

  11. The only problem with teslas is their hatred for physical buttons. The new M3 has no indicator stalks. Probably good for Americans, but anywhere with a roundabout? That will change in the EU due to new laws, and those changes will probably roll over to the rest of the world. But it’s annoying when they do it.
