I fully agree with him. “we think that intelligence is fundamentally connected to life” is just humans thinking we’re somewhat superior All our brain is is-an insanely powerful biological computer, all our body is is-an insanely powerful biological machine. There’s no reason it has to be biological and in fact freeing it of that constraint is how we will build a system with a far greater intelligence than us.
