  3. Jessie Arturo Thunder lap bars are just as safe as over shoulder restraints, once your in you ain’t getting out unless it fails, which is EXTREMELY rare. Nowadays it would never happen with good maintenance and staff. However I prefer lap bars, they are much more comfortable, definitely with lateral (side ways) g forces that causes head banging on OSR’s. That’s probably why your experience was painful, the banging from side to side. Anyway, as I said they are just as safe, you needn’t be worried about either.

  4. Not really, it’s up to the ride operators and the park to remove said guest, they have now added seatbelts and have set up sensors to all of their rides. However one thing I don’t understand is how it opened, 1 click is enough to lock in a ratchet restraint.

  5. CrazyDash Yt spices are faint, but I heard she slipped out. She was too big for the restraint and that left too big of a gap to hold her in.

  6. That was due to bad ride op staff, idiot riders (they reportedly stoped to wait for their friends) and it’s a shave that Australia’s only decent park is now facing monetary concerns. Rest in piece to those that passed, but hopefully the park can live on

  10. No one has died at Magic Mountain, some have died for other reasons, such as predisposed medical conditions but in my eye they aren’t something a park can control. However at Six Flags Over Georgia a teenager was hit by an empty train when he tried to retrieve his hat, decapitating him on Batman: The Rose. It was completely his fault however

  11. If you weren’t held in by your restring you’ would be dead, no one has the strength to hold on to the ride with the crazy negative G-forces. The lady died because she was way to large for the rides restraints, and at the drop she slipped through. It didn’t come loose to many accounts

  12. Mr Quince it crafted and 3 passengers had to be amputated and a 4th was severely injured. The rest got off with minor injuries
