Because farming is only one part of the process. There's storage, management of resources, marketing, transport both in and out of the country, finding buyers both in and out of the country.

Japan has worked hard to market the foods they sell as this obscurely premium product, when in reality the quality difference is minimal
1
Well it’s expensive to put huge lithium batteries in everything. Electric engines are a lot more expensive than petrol engines, and has a lower power output
1
The EU-Australia trade deal blew up because if the EU's draconian protectionism. I don't mind regulating the quality of foods, but saying that the cows have to come from a certain region and that their grass has to be 75% local or whatever, it's garbage
1
They get paid
1
Why? Most if not all cars would flip on grass.
1
Actually watched the test over, sand is a lot harder to stay flat on. As you slide, a mound (visible in the test) builds up, lifting the side wheels up. Grass would make this test “easier”.
1
Fafnir Legion it doesn’t really take much energy out of the car, just redirects it. I will find a link to a video about different ways of (edit) making run-off areas
1
The chinook is less than half the speed, about a third the range. The osprey is also capable of completing a wider range of missions.
1
What’s the difference between sand and tarmac? Tarmac would help the traction of the car, stopping it from tipping.
1
Go and invent a better synthetic wasabi then
1
But then we wouldn't progress
1
Lol
1
Well it's still butter, just mixed with water, oil and salt to make it more spreadable and to enhance it's flavour.
1
@toni4729 butter is just fat anyway. Oil or not
1
@toni4729 lol, butter is literally just fat. You take milk, churn it, and seperate off the fat. That fat is butter.

Mayank Bhatia bee movie
1
There's many foods that are inedible without a lot of sugar. Chocolate for example
1
The EU is a bit excessive with the things it bans, and even the US is as well. Should something really be banned if it may increase your cancer risk by an immeasurable amount?
1
Well why don't they just charge more? The free market works both ways.
1
Ovidiu well it must be good enough or it would just be labeled honey. Why would someone by the same food for 100x the price?
1
The Crypto Guy it might taste better, I’m not sure. But being rare and hard too harvest DOES make things more expensive. In japan a certain type of tuna can cost around $400 for half a kg. It of course tastes better (or it wouldn’t be special) but the rarity plays in conjunction with that.

No one owns wasabi
1
Well until the farmers can learn to market their produce, process and test their produce, transport their produce across the country and to other countries, in a way that's profitable at their tiny scales - they won't see most of the money.
1
@thefrostbee4182 farmers across the world complain about getting only a portion of the pie. They will continue to complain until they can figure out how to do what I mentioned on their small scale. People in northern countries can harvest more, their produce doesn't need to travel as far, and honestly I'd find their produce much more trustworthy.
1
@grimhhch nah that was an honest mistake. Those things happen from time to time
1
PjölliSwag Pretty much, and weight is increased dropping top speed.
1
Miguel lopez citation?

You can't clean the lake

P I I see delicious meat.
1
Studies have shown animals have been hunted, killed and eaten for millions of years
1
Alejandro Aragon Tan same as anything else that’s rare.
1
All juices have a fuckton of sugar.

Miguel lopez source?

Same could be said about anything that flies.
1
Because it's the best
1
@fordyyyyyyy the government should come in and do what? These governments are incompetent at best, they'd end up killing the industry
1
Use your Brain no it’s not
1
They definitely do but rear impacts aren’t as dangerous
1
Adrian what’s wrong with that?
1
jval733 no idea what your saying, but they do swap cars in formula e
1
The extra space and legroom is the main appeal. Plus if you are going on holiday, why not spend a bit more for the added luxury
1
I have a glass that can tip all the way over, but being really heavy near the bottom, it flips back. It’s not unbelievable, but if your car is already 90 degrees, harms probably been done.
1
It'll cost 1.7T over 50 years
1
Surely it would be cheaper if it was done with robots.
1
Germany started WW2 by invading an ally.
1
@AFE1312 stop shifting the goalposts. Anyway, the allies didn't declare war on the USSR because Poland didn't declare war on the USSR.
1
@AFE1312 they'd signed a pack in 1920 I believe. If Germany invaded Poland, France and Britain would declare war on Germany - regardless of Poland declaring war itself. They did as little as possible to satisfy the pact.
1
It’s doing good things, but electric cars aren’t the future.
