  2. Laura Francis junk food - that is costing taxpayers billions each year - has no nutritional value and only contributes to our nation increased obesity rates. On average over 20% of all SNAP benefits goes to junk food. Those are luxuries that should be purchased by someone themselves, not subsidised by the taxpayer. It’s disgusting.

  5. Laura Francis yeah I have empathy, but not stupidity. I don’t want my money going to junk food. The military provides a vital service to this country and the world - it protects us and our values. That’s why it’s expensive.

  7. People who are living off of the government should be those who are doing it hard, those who cannot afford to put food on their table. It shouldn’t mean that they can now buy unhealthy sugary drinks, and a number of other unhealthy foods for free - it should mean that they get the purchasing power to buy nutritional food for them and their family
